Frequently Asked Questions
What is the daily stay fee and what does it include?
Our daily stay fee is €20 per caravan. The fee is calculated per caravan, not per person.
For stays longer than 10 days, the daily rate for the days after the first 10 days is €15.
Your stay fee includes;

Can we stay one night during a transit journey?
Yes. We welcome caravan and motorhome guests travelling the Turkey or Europe route for a daily stay.
After a long journey you can rest, take a hot shower, do your laundry, take care of your caravan's water and waste needs, and continue on your way the next day.
Is it easy to reach the camp from the motorway?
Yes. Nakkaş Caravan Park is very close to the North Marmara Motorway (O-7). You can reach us in about 5 minutes from the motorway tollgates.
This means you can reach us during your transit journey without straying far from your main route, and easily continue on your way the next day.
Are you well located for caravans travelling to or from Europe?
Yes. Our location is particularly convenient for caravans passing through the Istanbul area in transit, travelling the Europe–Turkey route.
Just a few minutes off the North Marmara Motorway (O-7), you can take a peaceful break, take care of your needs, rest, and easily rejoin your main route the next day.
What hours can we check in?
We accept caravan check-ins between 09:00 and 23:00.
To protect the peace and quiet of our residents at night, check-in is not possible after 23:00 or before 09:00.
Please plan your journey with these hours in mind.
Do we need to make a reservation?
Before you arrive, you can submit a reservation request by filling out the reservation form on our website.
This lets us check availability and share the information you'll need before you arrive.
Does every caravan have its own space?
Yes. During your stay you use a parcel of your own for your caravan.
Each of our parcels comes with, ready for your direct use;
- Electricity connection
- Fresh water connection
- Grey water drain line
- Black water connection
This means you don't need to take your caravan to a shared service point to use these facilities.
Is there an electricity connection?
Yes. Every parcel has an electricity connection your caravan can use right on site.
Electricity is free for daily stays and is included in the €20 daily stay fee.
Can we get fresh water?
Yes. Every parcel has a fresh water connection right next to your caravan.
Fresh water is included in your daily stay fee and is not charged separately.
Can we empty our grey water?
Yes. Every parcel has a grey water drain connection.
You can drain your grey water through the connection on your own parcel.
Can we empty the caravan toilet / black water?
Yes. Every parcel has a black water connection.
You can empty your caravan's black water or cassette toilet through the connection on your own parcel.
Are there showers and toilets?
Yes. We have shower and WC facilities open to all our guests.
Is there hot water?
Yes. Our showers have hot water 24/7.
After a long journey, you can take a hot shower and rest whenever you like.
Are showers and toilets charged separately?
No. Shower and WC use is included in your daily stay fee. There is no extra charge for hot water either.
Is there a washing machine?
Yes. We have a washing machine our guests can use.
Caravan guests who have been on the road for a long time in particular can wash their laundry before continuing their journey.
Is the washing machine charged separately?
No. Washing machine use is free for our daily-stay guests.
Is there a shared kitchen?
Yes. We have a shared kitchen area our guests can use.
You can prepare food in the kitchen and make use of the basic kitchen facilities you need during your journey.
Can we use a fridge?
Yes. You can use the refrigerator in our shared area free of charge during your stay.
Is there Wi-Fi?
Yes. We have wireless internet (Wi-Fi).
Wi-Fi is free for our daily-stay guests and is included in the stay fee.
Do we need to pay extra for services?
No. Our daily stay fee is €20 per caravan.

Of course. Our camp is especially well suited for caravan guests who want to rest during a long journey.
You can reach us in about 5 minutes from the motorway, take care of your caravan's electricity, water and waste needs on your own parcel, do your laundry, take a hot shower, and after resting, get back on your main route the next day.
Can we stay with a tent?
No. Nakkaş Caravan Park only serves caravan and motorhome stays.
Tent camping is not accepted.
Is the camp quiet at night?
Yes. We place great importance on maintaining a peaceful, calm atmosphere at our camp.
Thanks to our quiet-hour rules, we offer a calm environment where you can rest comfortably, especially after a long journey.
Is the camp secure?
Camp roads and shared areas are monitored 24/7 by security cameras.
Because we care about our guests' privacy, our security cameras are positioned so they never see into the private living space of any caravan.
Do you accept pets?
Yes. We are a pet-friendly camp. You can stay with your pet.
To protect the comfort of our other guests, we ask that pets be kept under control.
Can we come with large motorhomes?
Yes. If you share your caravan's or motorhome's dimensions with us when you reserve, we can help you find a suitable parcel for your vehicle.
Do we have to enter Istanbul's city centre?
No. If you're travelling in transit, you can reach us via the North Marmara Motorway (O-7) without entering Istanbul's city centre.
This is one of the biggest advantages of our location, especially for caravan guests who don't want to deal with Istanbul city traffic and are continuing their journey.

Nakkaş Caravan Park is located on the European side of Istanbul, in Nakkaş Village in the Çatalca district.
As we are about 5 minutes from the North Marmara Motorway (O-7) tollgates, we are an easily reachable location for caravans passing through the Istanbul area in transit.

What languages can we communicate in?
We are able to communicate with our guests in any language with the help of translation tools.
